Progression at Vantify: Lina Gaudin
At Vantify, we’re proud of the people who grow with us. Lina Gaudin is one of those people: starting on the ServiceDesk for Elogs (now CAFM) back in 2018, she’s now Supply Chain Operations Manager and has seen the business evolve through transformation, new products, and personal milestones.
We sat down with Lina to talk about her career path, how she’s dealt with change, and what’s helped her thrive along the way.
Starting at the start-up stage
Lina first joined the business (then Elogbooks) in 2018, coming from a customer service background. After a year on the service desk supporting JLL, she was offered the opportunity to help launch a brand-new service, Facilities Services, which was being created from the ground up.
“It was a steep learning curve initially. We were essentially building processes from the ground up while navigating a new system.”
That early experience in building something new would set the tone for the rest of Lina’s career, helping shape new products, contribute ideas, and support innovation across teams.
Making moves and building confidence
Lina’s work with Facilities Services eventually led her to Supply Chain (previously Prosure360). She successfully applied for a Client Services Manager role and joined the product’s launch team in 2021.
“It was really exciting to be part of something new. I could see the product evolve, offer my input, and build relationships directly with clients and service providers. ”
Returning from maternity leave, and moving forward
One of the most significant milestones in Lina’s personal journey was taking maternity leave in 2023. Returning to work can be daunting, but Lina found the support she needed.
“It’s a life-changing moment. You hear different stories, but I felt financially and emotionally supported. My manager at the time, Rob, was great – checking in, making sure I had what I needed, and helping me understand the changes happening while I was away.”
By October 2024, she was back in role and quickly regained her footing. When a senior role opened up, Lina was offered the position of Supply Chain Operations Manager, a natural progression that reflects both her experience and leadership.
Developing skills and supporting others
New responsibilities brought new learning. Lina is now managing a team for the first time and actively developing her leadership skills. She recently completed a Level 3 qualification in Leadership and Management and is currently part of the Rising Stars programme.
“Rising Stars has been brilliant – not just the training, but the networking. I’ve learned so much from other parts of the wider group and how they approach challenges.”
What’s kept her here?
For Lina, it comes down to opportunity and trust.
“I’ve been able to grow and shift into different roles without needing to move companies. I’ve had the chance to shape products, contribute ideas, and feel recognised.”
She’s also seen others around her progress through similar paths, especially through internal programmes like Rising Stars.
Advice for others
- “Be patient, ask questions, and make the most of the skills you already have. If you’ve got the drive, the opportunities are there, and your hard work will be recognised.”
