Water Quality Consultancy and Monitoring

Poor water quality is invisible until it is expensive and dangerous.

The water inside your buildings affects the people who occupy them, the plant it runs through and the compliance position you have to evidence. This service covers all three: health risk, asset protection and statutory duty, across commercial property portfolios.

What we do

A risk-based, evidence-led service built around your systems and your data. We review records and monitoring trends, inspect water systems, assess treatment programmes and verify that compliance activity is actually happening. Sampling programmes are designed to the risk rather than to a template: microbiological testing covering legionella, pseudomonas, coliforms, E. coli and total viable counts; chemical analysis covering pH, conductivity, hardness, metals, chlorine residuals and inhibitor and glycol levels; and physical parameters covering temperature compliance, turbidity, flow and system cleanliness.

Closed water systems quietly corrode, foul and lose efficiency when water quality drifts. We provide closed system sampling, corrosion risk assessments, inhibitor and glycol analysis, treatment programme reviews and performance audits. For cooling water we deliver tower audits, treatment and dosing reviews, trend analysis and contractor performance reviews.

Water safety is management as well as chemistry, so we also review water hygiene policies, roles and responsibilities, written schemes, water safety plans, training arrangements, contractor management and incident response.

Why it matters

Duty holders must manage water systems, monitor them and keep the records to prove it. Done reactively, water quality is a sequence of surprises. Done properly, it is a data set that gets better every quarter.

Why Vantify

Services available individually or as one integrated programme, so a portfolio can start with the systems that carry the most risk.
