IOSH Safety for Property Managers
3.5 days, in person or virtual.  Contractor management and permit-to-work, statutory checks, record keeping against client policies, day-to-day safety of employees, tenants and visitors, and accident prevention and investigation. For managers who already have some experience or qualifications. Can be split over half days for distance learning.

IOSH Managing Safely
21 hours over 3 days, plus 1 hour assessment, in person or virtual.  Responsibilities and accountabilities, hazard and risk, managing the risk assessment process, controlling and evaluating risk, the law and the consequences of failing it, management systems, the six hazard groups, incident investigation, and measuring performance. Assessed by test and by practical application.

IOSH Managing Safely Refresher
1 day, in person or virtual.  For anyone who has completed the full course. Refreshed knowledge applied through Plan-Do-Check-Act, with checklists and materials to take back to the workplace. Successful delegates receive a Managing Safely Refresher certificate.

IOSH Working Safely
5 hours plus 30 minutes assessment, in person or virtual.  The introduction for any employee: why safety matters, who is responsible, the six hazard groups, controlling risk, permits to work, communicating safety information, workplace inspections, reporting incidents and near misses, and the role of the enforcement officer.

Managing Safely is the qualification most clients and tenants recognise when they ask whether your managers are competent. The property managers course covers the ground generic training leaves open: contractors, permits, statutory checks and the realities of managing a building you do not occupy.
